A POEM FOR A FRIEND
What I need is a friend who care
Who listen to me in this moment of despair
And understand the reason of my silence
Can I find one in my million friends?
I need a friend who sits next to me
Makes me forget what is within me
Cheer me up and fix a broken smile
Can I find one in many friends I have?
I need a friend who sees the pain
The way I frown and the way I stare
The way I try to play around
Can I find a friend who notices I act strange?
I need a friend who knows I lie
When I say I’m okay when I’m not
A friend who can hold my hand so tight
Can I have a friend that can make me feel alright?
I badly need a friend
Even just one that will be okay
In this roller coaster I feel within
I hope and pray someone will come and stay with me
What I need is a friend who care
